NAVI launch
Honda de México launched in Mexico Honda NAVi, a new crossover proposal that combines the advantages of a scooter, but at the same time offering the characteristics of a motorcycle, giving rise to the new segment called NAVi. It integrates part of the best of both worlds to offer space to store objects and it is automatic, although its handling is more aligned towards street motorcycles.
Honda NAVi is a model already very famous in other countries, aimed at a young user who wants his motorcycle to be an extension of his personality, so in this model you will find features such as compact size and sporty lines that make it original, both in the theme of design as in construction.
NAVi is the first vehicle designed by the Research and Design Area of India (R & INDIA) for Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI). The platform of a scooter was used for its design, but it is combined with the characteristics of a motorcycle, making it a crossover vehicle.
This could well be the start of a new segment in the world of two wheels, which in terms of technical specifications has a tubular cradle-type chassis, V-MATIC transmission (per band) and dry centrifugal automatic clutch. The single-cylinder, air-cooled, fan-cooled engine with 4-stroke Eco Honda Technology (HET), SOHC, 2-valve is powered by a carburetor and delivers power of 7.83 Hp at 7,000 rpm and torque of 8.96 Nm at 5,500 rpm . Its fuel consumption is approximately 60 km / l and it offers a maximum speed of 81 km / h.
HET technology was established in 2013 and its goal is to create vehicles with more efficient fuel consumption. HET focuses on the "Mileage Up" concept, that is, on designing and manufacturing vehicles, maximizing fuel efficiency. The basic principles for achieving this are better combustion, reduced friction and optimization of the transmission.
Likewise, NAVi is mounted on 12-inch wheels in the front and 10 in the rear, using tubeless tires 90 / 90-12 and 90 / 100-10 respectively. The brake system is 130mm diameter drum on both wheels and front suspension with telescopic forks and monoshocked swingarm rear.
Honda NAVi adds a transistorized starting system, automatic lighting of lights, analog fuel gauge on the dash, single-phase alternator charging system and 12V-3Ah battery.
It is focused on practicality and functionality; It is a model that captivates while moving through the streets for its unique design and style. Its headlight comes in the same color as the motorcycle, making it much more attractive and long.
